This website is operated by Compos Mentis Group LLC, doing business as Namaste the Ninja. Throughout the site, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Compos Mentis Group LLC. By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to the terms below.

Products and pricing

All prices are in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. If you're shopping from outside the United States, your local currency may be shown at checkout using a live exchange rate; the amount charged is converted at the time of purchase. We do our best to display product colors, artwork, and details accurately, but we can't guarantee that your screen displays them exactly.

We reserve the right to limit quantities and to refuse or cancel any order. If we cancel an order you've already paid for, you'll receive a full refund.

International orders, duties and taxes

We ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Import duties, VAT, GST, and customs fees are not included in our prices or shipping charges. Those charges are set by the destination country, collected by the carrier before delivery, and are the customer's responsibility. Refusing a delivery to avoid these charges is treated as a change-of-mind return, and the original shipping cost is not refunded.

Pre-orders

Some items are sold as pre-orders before they are manufactured. Payment is collected when you place a pre-order. Expected ship dates are estimates and may change.

You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before it ships. If we are ever unable to fulfill a pre-order, we will cancel it and refund you in full.

Donations

Donations collected alongside signed books support the work of Namaste the Ninja. They are not tax-deductible charitable contributions and no tax receipt is issued. Compos Mentis Group LLC is a for-profit limited liability company, not a registered nonprofit organization.

Accuracy of your information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when you place an order, including a valid email address and shipping address, so we can fulfill and communicate about your order.

Intellectual property

The Namaste the Ninja books, characters (including Nami), artwork, and written content on this site are the property of Compos Mentis Group LLC and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without written permission.

Educators and caregivers are welcome to read the books aloud in classrooms, libraries, and homes.

Nothing here is professional advice

Namaste the Ninja is a children's storybook about naming feelings and taking a breath. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you have concerns about a child's emotional or mental health, please speak with a pediatrician, counselor, or other licensed provider.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Compos Mentis Group LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our products.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your own country.
